Diogo de Andrade has been working on games since he was 10 years old. He graduated in Computer Engineering in 2000, at Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisboa). The last years of his degree were also occupied with various professional and R&D work in several companies, including his first comercial games.

After graduating, he worked on educational/ children's titles, and in systems integration for telecoms.

In 2004, he cofounded two companies: Spellcaster Studios a game development studio, and Widecast Technologies, which developed Digital TV software and PSI/SI spoolers.

He sold the companies in 2010, and went to work at Divitel B.V., a systems integrator based in the Netherlands, working as Chief Software Architect and implementation engineer for all the software-related products.

In 2016, he got back into game development by joining the team at B5 Studios / Biodroid Pocket Studio as a contractor for several prototypes, and then joined Fun Punch Games in 2017 to work on "Strikers Edge", a PC/PS4 award-winning multiplayer arena battle game launched in January 2018, and "Billabong Surf Trip 2", a mobile surf game.

Afterwards, he moved into CAD software development, responsible for the rendering technology and technical architecture of Mind ShoeDesign for Mind S.A.

He's currently a teacher of Videogame Development at Lusófona University, finishing his PhD and continues to build games in his spare time!
