Maria Karra is a multidisciplinary artist, poet, and game designer from Greece, with an integrated MFA/BFA from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her practice explores video games as sociopolitical and artistic media through multimedia installations, sound, and narrative. She also writes poetry and has a strong academic interest in researching art history and the evolution of video games as an artistic medium. Maria has exhibited work at ADAF and the National War Museum, interned at ZKM (Center for Art and Media), and is passionate about experimental design and culturally rooted storytelling.
